What is ROI? And what does 130% mean?
Return on investment (ROI) compares what you gain with what you spend. Here is the formula and a worked example.
The formula
ROI % = (gain − cost) ÷ cost × 100
If a business invests $100,000 and gains $150,000 in extra revenue and saved costs, the net gain is $50,000 and ROI is 50%.
Revenue increases and cost decreases
A gain can come from selling more, from spending less, or both. Higgins counts both toward the guarantee.
